WHAT IS CÁSCARA?

First of all, Cáscara means shell in Spanish. But... what is it in fact? Besides referring to the peel of some fruits and eggs, "Cáscara” is a biannual Fanzine written, drawn and self-released, in this occasion, between Seville (Spain) and Łódż (Poland).

Why Cáscara? Cáscara can be perceived as the shell for protection and shelter that we can take off If we want, but, also, the shell that can snatch the "other".
In this game of appearance and criticism to our environment our goals are clear: to promote art, culture, share ideas and initiate dialogues, inviting the reader to be part of the bad habit of the critical thinking.
People involved in this Fanzine are curious and restless, people with hungry brains and dislocated hands, addicted to drawing.
